You may leave the oil for another 10 to 15 minutes, so the scalp gets moisturized, which prevents dandruff from appearing. Or, you can massage your scalp while in the shower and use shampoo instead of the oil

Ginkgo biloba is used for quite some time as a popular herbal supplement for hair loss treatment, as it stimulates the blood flow to the scalp, providing the necessary nutrients to the hair follicle and moisturizes the scalp, preventing development of dandruff. Brushing your hair is very significant as it stimulates both the scalp and the hair follicles. Try to avoid using brushes with hard bristles, as they may do more harm to your skin and hair, get natural, soft bristled brush and use it regularly.

Also try to avoid ponytails and tight braids, as they pull on the root, causing stress to the scalp and the follicles and slowing down the hair growth.

Add a few drops of peppermint oil to 2 teaspoons of carrier oil, mix well and apply directly to the hair and scalp. Massage for a couple of minutes and either rinse with a little lukewarm water, or leave overnight for best results.
